Check us out at www.tpandl.com. This position is based in Casper, WY. The ideal candidate will be responsible for timely and accurate preparation of financial accounting data in a variety of areas. It is essential that this candidate brings analytical and organizational skills in order to best support the accounting team.Responsibilities

• Work closely with the department heads to understand and ensure accuracy of all financial reporting activity
• Assist in preparation and distribution of financial statements
• Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations
• Maintaining documentation for accounts payable, purchasing, and treasury and conducting internal audits
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
  • CPA or in the process of acquiring
  • 2-4 years' experience in accounting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of GAAP
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills
