and countless dining and entertainment options. POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Diversity and Inclusion Manager is responsible for leading,
supporting and executing inclusion, diversity, equity, anti-racism,
and social justice (IDEAS) efforts across the organization through
partnership with the Chief Human Resources and Diversity Officer to
promote and advance an IDEAS focused culture. ESSENTIAL
ACCOUNTABILITIES: IDEAS Strategy and Leadership-- ----- ----Support
the development of and evolve the AAN IDEAS strategy with key
stakeholders to increase diversity, advance organizational equity,
and foster inclusion ----- ----Develop action and delivery plans to
accelerate strategy towards strengthening an inclusive,
high-performing culture ----- ----Lead internal staff IDEAS
committee setting direction and providing resources ----- ----Serve
as staff liaison to the physician member facing IDEAS Committee,
collaborating on agenda development, project oversight, conference
calls, meeting logistics and communications-- ----- ----Provide
subject matter expertise to leaders and stakeholders across the
organization to integrate best practices and drive initiative
alignment, by taking a balanced consultative approach to
integrating inclusion and diversity practices into the
organization-- ----- ----Develop and maintain internal and external
metrics, including collection, analyzation, communication and
dissemination to measure progress and impact of IDEAS initiatives--
Alignment and Execution-- ----- ----Engage leaders, at all levels
of the organization, to advance awareness and support for IDEAS
activities which foster a diverse workforce, an inclusive culture
and leads to highly engaged employees and membership -----
----Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Management in the
design and developing of programs and tools to recruit, retain and
develop diverse talent ----- ----Serve as a strong advocate, ally
and champion and influence others to progress their allyship -----
----Partner with the communications team to provide updates on
initiatives, events, and progress internally and externally -----
----Identify, build, and sustain key community partnerships
Education and Training-- ----- ----Create, deliver, or coordinate
appropriate resources for staff educational programming and
training initiatives ----- ----Assist staff in ensuring equity and
inclusion is considered for new and existing programs and policies
by developing toolkits and providing data, support, and

QUALIFICATIONS: Education: ----- ----Bachelor---s Degree in
business, human resources, industrial relations, communications or
related field is required Experience:-- ----- ----Minimum of 5
years' experience developing, and leading measurable diversity and
inclusion programs is required ----- ----Previous experience in
professional association organization preferred Equivalent
combination of education and experience beyond the minimum
requirement may be substituted for qualification requirements.

----Demonstrated industry knowledge with experience in applied
D&I best practices required ----- ----Demonstrated ability to
build trusting working relationships and credibility with employees
and leaders with all levels in diverse functional areas throughout

skills are required -- ----- ----Strong presentation and

ADDITIONAL POSITION INFORMATION: FLSA Classification: --Exempt
Travel Requirements: -- Occasional travel required ---
approximately 5%. -- Location: Minneapolis, MN Schedule:
--Occasional evenings and weekends required.-- Location:
Minneapolis, MN and is identified as hybrid (required to work in
the office with the ability to wok remotely part of the week)--

sit for long periods of time, occasional use of stairs; regular use
of computer and office equipment, lifting up to 10 lbs. --The
