Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language
Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, the
Speech-Language Pathologist will have the opportunity to

speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The Speech-Language
Pathologist's expertise will pave the way for better communication

Job Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication,
cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals
across the lifespan, from infants to the elderly.
Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's
specific needs.
Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to improve patients'
communication abilities.
Design and utilize appropriate aids and devices for communication
enhancement.
Educate patients and family members about communication and
swallowing strategies.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as
occupational therapists, audiologists, and physicians, to provide a
comprehensive care plan.
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as
necessary.
Conduct group therapy sessions when appropriate.
Advise on communication strategies and modifications for patients
in educational or workplace settings.
Implement speech therapy interventions in a culturally sensitive
manner, respecting diverse backgrounds and needs.
Engage in continuing education to stay updated on the latest speech
therapy research and best practices.
Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance
with HIPAA regulations.
Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings for
students, if working within an educational setting.
Provide training and supervision to speech therapy assistants and
students.
Conduct public education and awareness programs on issues related
to speech and language development and disorders.

Job Requirements
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Therapy or
equivalent
Valid Wyoming state license in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology
(CCC-SLP) from the American Speech Language Hearing Association
(ASHA) is preferred but not required
Relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably with the
specific population of the job (e.g., pediatrics, geriatrics,
etc.)
Proficient in conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and
implementing therapy for various speech, language, voice, and
fluency disorders
Ability to use and interpret standardized speech and language
assessment tools
Strong understanding of alternative communication systems and
assistive technologies
Knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding documentation
and treatment of speech and language disorders
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability
to work collaboratively with patients, families, and other
healthcare professionals
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA
regulations
Willingness to participate in ongoing education and training to
stay current in the field
Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health
records (EHR) systems
Physical stamina to perform job tasks, which may include lifting or
positioning patients and standing for extended periods
