Job Description Job Description Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while working under the guidance of a collaborative healthcare team. This role focuses on ensuring the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of patients. Key duties include monitoring patient health, overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and complying with healthcare regulations and organizational standards. Join our team and grow with us! As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN will provide quality nursing care through direct patient interactions and ensure that patients achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial health in line with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting any changes in patient conditions. Daily tasks will also involve assigning duties, instructing, and offering clinical oversight to CNAs. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements: Completion of an accredited LPN program Active and valid LPN license in the applicable state, maintained in good standing throughout employment Preferred: One (1) year of experience in skilled nursing CPR certification required upon hire or to be obtained during orientation; must remain current throughout employment Specific Job Requirements: Ability to make independent decisions when necessary Competently provide quality nursing care to patients Demonstrate excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude towards patients We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
