Job Description:
Join Campbell County Health (CCH) as a Radiology Technician PRN
and be a part of a dedicated team delivering outstanding healthcare
to our community in Gillette, Wyoming. Our comprehensive healthcare
system includes a well-equipped hospital and several clinics,
ensuring high standards of care. As a PRN Radiology Tech, you will
operate imaging equipment to produce images of the body for
diagnostic purposes under the minimal supervision of a qualified
Radiologist. This position offers a flexible schedule, designed to
suit the needs of our dynamic hospital environment while providing
optimal patient care. Operate and maintain radiology equipment
safely to conduct diagnostic imaging examinations according to
physician orders. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining
methodologies and calming their anxieties. Maintain patient records
and radiographic evaluations for accessibility and compliance.
Adjust imaging equipment and shield patients from exposed radiation
following safety protocols. Collaborate with radiologists to
determine the proper examination and ensure the delivery of
accurate diagnostic data. Manage the imaging environment, ensuring
cleanliness and stock supplies. Provide on-call support as needed
to accommodate hospital schedules and emergency cases. Proficiency
in various types of imaging modalities, particularly X-ray and MRI.
Excellent patient management skills to handle diverse patient needs
and emergencies. Strong technical ability and troubleshooting
skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective
interaction with patients, staff, and physicians. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified and
registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of
Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Valid state license as a
Radiologic Technologist.
