Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: /n RN - ED /n/n Job Details: /n • Work varied schedule as an Emergency Department Registered Nurse /n• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for emergency patients /n• Provide direct patient care utilizing specialized emergency nursing knowledge and skills /n• Complete patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and developmental needs /n• Review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data with timely reporting of abnormal results /n• Formulate and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary team /n• Delegate appropriately and supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel /n• Document patient care accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies /n• Participate in quality improvement activities and professional development /n• Must possess current valid RN license in state of practice or compact licensure /n• BLS certification required /n• Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required within past 12 months /n• Experience in emergency department specialty area preferred /n• Bachelor's degree and professional certification preferred /n• Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare organization operates as part of a comprehensive medical system providing high-quality patient care and excellent service experiences.
