Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Varied work schedule with flexible scheduling • Assess, plan, implement, evaluate and document nursing care for medical-surgical patients • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments including physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs • Formulate and implement individualized plans of care in collaboration with multidisciplinary team • Provide direct patient care, coordination, delegation and supervision of healthcare team activities • Document all nursing interventions and patient responses in accordance with facility policies • Evaluate patient progress and revise care plans as needed • Participate in patient and family education • Supervise licensed and non-licensed personnel in quality care delivery • Current RN license in state of practice required • BLS and ACLS certification required • Minimum one year acute care hospital experience required • Experience in acute care setting within past 12 months required • Bachelor's degree preferred • Professional certification preferred • Must maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations Facility: This healthcare facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with a focus on evidence-based nursing practice and professional development.
