Details - Work in the Interventional Radiology unit of an acute care, adult Level II teaching hospital - Care for adult and geriatric patient populations - Schedule consists of four 9-hour day shifts, 07:00 to 16:30 - Weekend shifts required every other or every third weekend based on department needs - On-call required: one night per week (16:30-07:00) and every third weekend (Friday 16:30 to Monday 07:00) - No floating required outside of the IR unit - Uses Epic for documentation - Navy scrubs required Requirements - Active MI RN license required at time of submission - Minimum of 2 years Interventional Radiology nursing experience - Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required - Previous charge nurse experience required - Experience in Interventional Radiology, pre/post procedure care, and special procedures required - Epic EMR experience preferred - First-time travelers accepted Additional Information - Primary responsibilities include specialized nursing care for interventional radiology patients, including pre- and post-procedure care - Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a teaching hospital environment - Free parking available on site - Holiday coverage may be required based on department needs - Locals are accepted with no distance or radius restrictions - All time off requests must be submitted during the application process American Traveler Job ID P-673032.
