This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rural healthcare setting. You will provide individualized therapy and work closely with patients across the lifespan. Your focus will be to help patients restore function, improve mobility, and achieve their health goals. As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate, plan, and implement comprehensive treatment programs. You will work with patients who have a wide variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional conditions. Collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary team is essential to ensure continuity of care. You will engage in both outpatient and occasional inpatient settings. Key responsibilities include performing patient evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans. You will provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and functional training. Educating patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention is a vital part of the role. You will document all care in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards. Maintaining knowledge of evidence-based practices and current treatment guidelines is essential. You will also supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants and support staff as appropriate.
