Job purposeThis job requires strong computer and customer service skills in conjunction with a solid knowledge in construction equipment and aggregate parts. This position serves with both internal and external customers as must as have the ability to keep a calm during stressful high-call volume and other demanding situations.Duties and responsibilitiesLoads, unloads and moves materials within or near warehouse plant or worksite. Examines goods shipped and verifies completeness of shipments against bill of lading, invoices, and other records.Route incoming shipments/goods to respective departments.Counts and compares quantity and identification numbers of units against order.Reads work order or follows oral instructions Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or fork liftPrepares products for shipmentPrepares identifying information/ shipping instructions on containersPulls stock ordersQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED.Prior equipment/automotive parts experience a plus but not essential as training will be providedProficient utilizing computers including Microsoft productsBi-Lingual, English/Spanish is a plus.Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment drug screen, background check, including MVR, and pre-employment physical. Working conditionsThis position requires sitting, stooping, kneeling, pushing, climbing, moving, and reaching/working overhead.Ability to safely lift 60 lbs. Ability to operate a forklift safely.This position is exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, hazardous materials, and moderate noise levels.
