.Role Summary:Patient Service Representatives work onsite with our
hospital client staff, patients and other team members while
interviewing patients to determine program eligibility. Patient
Service Representatives conduct analysis of patients' potential
reimbursement and partner with patients to ensure complete
understanding of benefits application process. Patient Service
Representatives partner with team members and client to ensure that
patients' and client's needs are met. Schedule will be Monday to
Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.Learn more about this position by watching a

Responsibilities:--- Meet with under-insured or uninsured patients
in the hospital to explore & identify all possible eligibility
program solutions/options--- Accurately complete new applications/
recertifications and supporting documentation with the patient and
review for completeness.--- Gather financial documentation and
other supporting information from patients in person, and/or over
the phone while providing understanding of how to complete required
forms, while advising patients of their rights, responsibilities
and pertinent rules and regulations.--- Entry of all information
into various portals and databases--- Obtain and review referrals
daily to determine appropriateness for potential interview and
eligibility, begin application process when possible--- Identify
any additional patient needs and direct them to appropriate
agencies for assistance--- Understand and agree to role-specific
information security access and responsibilities--- Ensure safety
and confidentiality of data and systems by adhering to the
organizations information security policies--- Read, understand and
agree to security policies and complete all annual security and
compliance trainingRole Requirements:--- High School Diploma--- 3
years working in a business or clerical role within an office or
hospital setting--- 2+ years customer service experience utilizing
telephone and computer technology--- Extensive data entry and
windows-based navigation experience--- Must be able to type 35+
WPM--- A strong concept of patient advocacy and the desire to help
someone every day--- A strong work ethic, ability to work
independently while making a difference--- Consistent punctuality
and attendance--- Healthcare experience, patient contact experience
a strong plus--- Familiarity with multiple databases and computer
programs.--- Must successfully pass a background check and drug
test prior to employment--- Ideal candidate will possess the
