Job Description:
Waste Connections is seeking a highly motivated Outside Sales
Representative to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of the
sales team, you will be responsible for securing and maintaining
new commercial and industrial waste management contracts. This role
requires a proactive approach to understanding the waste disposal
needs of businesses and delivering tailored solutions that align
with Waste Connections' commitment to sustainability and superior
service. Identify and target potential new clients within the
commercial and industrial sectors. Develop tailored sales proposals
that meet the specific needs of each client. Maintain strong
relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction
and continuous use of Waste Connections services. Negotiate
contract terms with clients and coordinate with legal teams to
finalize agreements. Stay informed on market trends and industry
regulations to enhance service offerings. Regularly meet and exceed
sales targets set by the sales management team. Participate in
local trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to promote
Waste Connections services. Strong negotiation and communication
skills Ability to develop strategic sales plans Knowledge of waste
management and recycling industry standards Proficiency in CRM
software and Microsoft Office Strong organizational and time
management skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or
equivalent preferred Familiarity with environmental compliance and
regulations is a plus
